Touring with Steve Winwood was an absolute dream come true for me. As a drummer, I've always been a huge fan of his music and getting the chance to play with him on stage was an incredible experience.

Steve is such a consummate professional and a true master of his craft. The way he approaches music and performance is really inspiring, and I learned so much from watching him every night. He's also just a great guy to be around, very down-to-earth and easy to talk to.

As for the shows themselves, they were just electric. The energy in the room when Steve took the stage was palpable, and I always felt like I was part of something special. The songs themselves are classics, of course, but playing them with such a talented group of musicians really brought them to life in a whole new way.

One of the highlights of the tour for me was getting to perform "Gimme Some Lovin'" every night. That song has such an iconic drum intro, and I never got tired of playing it. It was also really cool to see how the crowd reacted to it - it's one of those songs that just gets people up and dancing, no matter where you are.

All in all, touring with Steve Winwood was an experience I'll never forget. It was an honor to be part of such a legendary musician's band, and I'm grateful for every moment I got to spend on stage with him.
